LET’S GET YOU SET UP.
Install SLINK.
Chrome on desktop. Torn PDA on mobile.
Pick the one you play on and follow along.
ON YOUR COMPUTER
The Chrome extension.
Open SLINK in the Chrome Web Store.
Use the official listing below, then select Add to Chrome and confirm the installation.
Open the SLINK listing ↗Open Torn and find SLINK.
Sign in to Torn and refresh the page after installing. Open the SLINK panel. You can also open SLINK from Chrome’s extensions menu.
Finish setup through Access.
Review the current SLINK terms and enter your Torn API key in SLINK’s Access screen. Follow the key requirements shown there, then use Save and verify access.
Choose your available modules, alerts, and theme. Never enter your API key on this website or send it in chat.
ON YOUR PHONE OR TABLET
Installing with Torn PDA.
Torn PDA has its own built-in userscript manager.
Install Torn PDA.
Install the app and complete the normal Torn PDA setup.
Enable custom user scripts.
Open ☰ → Settings → Advanced Browser Settings. Turn Enable Custom User Scripts on, then open Manage Scripts.
Try the installation link first.
Open the official SLINK script link inside Torn PDA. If PDA recognises it, follow the prompt to install.
Install SLINK for Torn PDA ↗Prefer the official remote link so PDA can check for script updates.
If the link doesn’t install automatically, use Remote URL.
In Manage Scripts, tap +, then Configure. Paste the official link into Remote URL, tap Fetch, then Load. Complete any final Add/Save prompt.
Make sure SLINK is enabled.
Return to Manage Scripts. The toggle beside SLINK should be ON. If your PDA version offers per-script storage, enable it for SLINK.
Return to Torn in PDA’s internal browser and load a page. SLINK should appear.
Connect SLINK through Access.
Open SLINK, review the current terms, and enter your Torn API key in Access. Use Save and verify access, then choose the alerts and modules you want.
The website never needs your API key. Don’t send it to anyone when asking for help.
Alternative: manually paste the script
Use this only if the remote installation options aren’t working. Open the official script link, copy the entire source, and paste it into Manage Scripts → +. Include the full userscript header, beginning with // ==UserScript== and ending with // ==/UserScript==, as well as all the code after it. Save/add the script and enable its toggle.
A manual copy may not retain remote updates. The official Remote URL method is preferable.
SLINK isn’t appearing?
- Custom User Scripts is enabled.
- The SLINK script toggle is on.
- You’re using Torn PDA’s internal browser.
- You installed the official SLINK script, not an older reuploaded copy.
- If an error appears, keep its exact wording for your report.
You don’t need to delete your scripts, clear storage, or reset your settings to follow this guide.
Keeping SLINK updated
When installed from its official remote source, PDA can check for newer launcher versions. Follow its update prompts and keep the Remote URL intact. SLINK also loads live components; a live refresh does not replace an installed launcher update when one is required.
